Hadrian’s Definition of Design
A roadmap or strategic approach for someone to achieve a unique expectation. A design defines the specifications, plans, parameters, cost, activities, processes, and how and what to do within legal, political, social, environmental, safety, and economic constraints in achieving that objective.
Design-Build versus Design-Bid-Build
Design-Bid-Build
In the traditional Design-Bid-Build process, homeowners can get caught in the owner, designer, builder triangle. Separate contracts with the designer and contractor often leave owners dealing with missed or duplicated work, resulting in wasted time and resources.
Design-Build
The Design-Build process streamlines home renovations by providing one contract for both the design and construction portions of the project. Hadrian specializes in Design-Build projects, helping owners take control of their project by offering cost and time savings. Owners enjoy focusing on the project rather than two separate contracts, and the Hadrian team collaborates on project management to ensure that the design matches the end product.
Hadrian also works with owners who have existing plans from an architect or designer and want our construction team to turn those plans into a project.
Design-Build
With a background in construction and an education in art, design, and business, Markel has moved the company from its beginnings in small renovation work to a full-service home building and remodeling company with a wide range of current projects, including kitchen and bath renovations, outdoor living spaces, full home renovations, additions, and custom new homes.
